ok - with full on shields-up filters set for accessibility testing all I
see is "La pagina corrente utilizza i frame. Questa caratteristica non è
supportata dal browser in uso."

You are not alone ...

You use Opera, right?
What if you switch your filters set from "shield-up" to "ordinary browsing"?

You asked for reviews in a newsgroup about accessibility - it isn't
accessible. Why not fix that before worrying about "ordinary" browsers?

It isn't accessible, with Opera set to shield-up.

See above. Maybe it's accessible for 95% of the browsers with common
settings.

It isn't accessible, with Opera set to shield-up.
Which simple means disabling certain features - such as frames (and thus
displaying the alternative content - which, in your case, sucks).

Its not difficult to get 100% accessibility. I suggest you take a read of

Honestly, I don't particularly care to address my websites to people whose
browsers can't even display a page with frames.

How long d'ya think those rules will be still valid, before a new IE release
overrides them?

Which means that you don't care about whether your site is accessible.
So why are you asking for opinions in this newsgroup?

Where do you get the idea that IE overrides web standards?

Wrong deduction. That means I care it's accessible for most of the users.

You seem to be unaware of the sense of the word "accessibility" as used
in the context of in user interface design. It's concerned with the
ability of users *outside* the "most of the users" category to use an
interface (web site, etc.). That includes users who work with text-based
browsers, Braille readers, speech synthesizers, and so forth, which may
not have frames support at all.

Sure. Just as, if you're Christian, you *can* seek spiritual guidance
from a rabbi or an imam. However, you *shouldn't* if you're going to
become indignant when the responses are given (as they will be) in a
Jewish or Muslim context rather than a Christian one.
