Are you tired of search marketing?

Every online marketing plan includes search marketing. Though search
marketing is no doubt effective, consider that organic SEO can take
anything between 6-9 months to get your site listed. With keyword
prices going through the roof, PPC ads are proving to be frightfully
expensive.

Getting a decent rank in the major search engines is a long drawn out
battle and more often than not, those with the bigger marketing budgets
win. What then is the alternative? Viral marketing.

But what is viral marketing? Viral marketing is defined as a strategy
that encourages individuals to pass on a marketing message to others,
creating the potential for exponential growth in the marketing
message's exposure.

Here are some viral marketing tactics that can help you stand out in
the cluttered online world, without paying through your nose:

Some nice ideas there Sunil - thanks & yes you're correct about viral
marketing, it does work.

I have a client, a UK Football League club, that's about to launch an online
game targeted at local (South West England) potential customers. We'll use
their existing database of opted-in supporters etc to promote the game by
email.

Each player is 'rewarded' by bonus points when they invite others to play.

We also publish articles at http://articles.usewho.com and link this to our
main Affiliate Programme link at www.usewho.com/partners where we share
commissions earned 50/50 with our Affiliates.

Affiliates who invite others to join earn a monthly bonus payment (10% of
their signed up Affiliates earnings) so the viral bit can be nice little
earner.

It's early days for us but I'll keep you up to date on how we're doing.
