Yahoo results nowhere near as good as Google results

Hi all,

A newb question here. I have a site that returns a page 2 result for
most of my key search terms in Google, but doesn't appear in the first
10 pages (maybe not at all) in Yahoo.

I have a few (say around 100) incoming links to my site which
contain my key words.
The title of my site, plus various links on the homepage all contain
the same key words.

My site is even listed on Yahoo's directory.

Does Yahoo place less weight on stuff like having keywords in
incoming links, than google does?

Any general tips on SEO-ing my home page for Yahoo results?

I must confess, because Yahoo! and to an even greater extent MSN Search,
don't bring me much traffic I do tend to only keep half an eye on
them. My feeling with Yahoo! is that although anchor text and IBLs play
a role on-page factors are also very significant. However without you
telling us what your site is and what at least one of your key phrases
is it is hard to offer more specific advice.

Enjoy the traffic that high ranking in Google will bring you, marry a
broad-hipped woman who will bear you strong sons, and don't worry
about Yahoo.
Was there anything else?

yahoo pays more weight on ON-PAGE optimization than google...
