Default yahoo makes problems :-( - 06-10-2005 , 03:29 AM

Hi guys,
my company has a homepage (85 pages) and for 3 years it was in top 10 in
yahoo and google. But in the last 2-3 months we went to the second position
in google and to the 60th (!) position in yahoo.
Also our description disappeard from yahoo (for one week it seemd to
display the meta key words with a lot of repeated words, even if there are
not) and now is shows only the description of the directory of yahoo that
was given by the yahoo guys.

Do you know what the reason can be ? Can it be penalized ? We didn't use
spam techniques. Have you a similair experience and did you solve it ?

I am so greatfull for some suggestions.

Bye

Bobby

Going from first to second in Google is nothin drastic. Somebody else is
going through a better phase. You did conquer that first position at some
point in time, did you not? Well, somebody lost that position at the time
too.

Was your server down at any point? It sounds like Yahoo fetched some
improper information when it last crawled and therefore its rankings
changed (temporarily).
