I just tried it on a couple of sites... worked fine for me

Getting into Yahoo was never really a problem... all you had to do was sign
up for a Yahoo/Geocities account and create a page with links to your site
and you would have gotten crawled within a couple of weeks (I created 3
websites on geocities, one for each of my cats and put links up to my pages
as I made them... they (the cat pages as well as my other sites) would be
indexed in Yahoo shortly thereafter)
