I'm trying to improve my Gooogle page ranking. I realise www.tu.bc.ca
is something to do with the technical university of British Columbia,
Canada, but how do I register my site with them? They don't give any clues
on their site.

One of my competitors is listed with them and I wish to do the same.

Customarily you email the webmaster and ask for inclusion. I can't see
that your site has anything to do with UBC though. Perhaps this is
because I'm British and there is some kind of Canadian custom implied
that I'm missing here. So I can't see why they'd want to link to you
in the first place. And why the link to yourself at the bottom of the
page? What purpose do you feel that serves?
Don't be shy now - unless you let the clowns in here laugh at you
you'll never learn anything. Gawd knows I have to put up with enough
of it. Sigh.

I've looked around on the site and didn't see anything either.
But to be honest, do you think they are worth it ?

The site also contains broken links as well as only being © 2001-2003

improve my ranking I thought.

I'm checking and shadowing all the links of one of my competitors who has a
good page ranking with Google, and he has an entry with them.
