I have seen a few sites, e.g. wiki answers where site's own footer links and some other links are nofollowed.. this helps their SEO.. if yes.. how.. |

page rank to important pages, rather than to pages that don't particularly need to be 'found' - such as TOS, privacy policy, etc., etc. In my view any gains are probably small - and most sites that try it, don't seem to do it very well - you need have a clear plan of what you want, and that means paying close attention to all links. But it can have some value. |

PR sculpting.. thanks for the term.. i found good amount of literature on it now.. It appears quite conceptual though |
