I run a small web design firm. I get my clients started with search engine placement, but don't really offer or promote SEO services. I usually can achieve a PR of about 3 or 4 for my clients' sites. In the past week or so, the vast majority of listings of links to my clients' sites have disappeared from Google link: searches, although they still show up in similar link: searches in Yahoo, MSNSearch, etc. So far, I have not seen drops in PR's, but I'm concerned that's next. Most of these links were what I thought to be legit link resources, but I've included a few common examples below. All of these have recently disappeared from Google link: searches. I'd appreciate any feedback regarding what might be going on, and whether Google would likely interpret these as link spamming: http://visitgeorgetowncountysc.com/ - Business directory for local Visitor's Bureau http://georgetowncountychamber.com/ - Business directory for local CofC http://www.wacweb.com/portfolio.htm - My website's online portfolio http://www.ricefields.org/sponsors.htm - Sponsor's page for local community website Thanks for your help. |
