Hi Roy,

Thanks I build some nice looking websites; mostly using CSS. The
people over at articledashboard call me a perfectist. LOL. The reason
they call me that is I try to make all my websites perfect from SEO to
design. I am very hard on myself.

Hi
I think you will find that the word is perfectionist.

I find that, particularly with these long words, it's easier to let typos
slip in. I sometimes leave out 'ion' or 'ti' in words that are visibly read
by their ends, e.g. internationalisation. The reader would rarely look
inside the word, so misspellings are unlikely to be spotted until the
spellchecker gets used.

Anyway, you may want to pass your site through a validator and you
will see that it has errors. And for some reason you are using xhtml
in places for html.

I love XHTML. Many others say it should not be used, especially in alt.html.

Also, your site would be better if you centered it.

One more thing, please do not top post or reply with a fresh message.

It's not truly the OP's fault. The interface of the gateway used (Google
Groups) is highly flawed. I suggest you (the OP) reads the following:

http://www.safalra.com/special/googlegroupsreply/

This will make your messages more likely of receiving a reply. I saw about 5
messages from Google Groups this morning. In this newsgroup, they get
highlighted in blue. Some of them were really inane and one even had ALL
CAPS in the subject line. I hit 'ignore' on all apart from yours, so a
perfectionism you might as well have demonstrated, apart from the tools that
you had used (G2)

See how I am posting to you ?

Then you can be a perfectionist here too

We all make mistakes sometimes. I was top-posting when I first got started
with UseNet. I still rarely trim-post, even when I definitely should.
and don't think we haven't noticed!

Ha!

Hi John,

But does Google look at spam? How about MSN and Yahoo?
Your visitors do. I skip sites that look too spammy.

Quote:
I am just trying
to learn about all this spam stuff. I know for a fact I create no
hidden links, backdoor pages and so on.I also create my sites with
excellent titles. Just trying to figure out this spam crap.I mean I
don't use the keyword berkshires or remax in berkshires 500 times at
bottom of the pages
Make your titles, and content, pleasant to read for visitors. Since that's
what count. SEs will try to use more and more AI or AI related techniques
to detect spam, so the more artificial your content looks, the sooner it
hits a spam detection algorithm.

BTW, I checked your websites. Very nice
Thanks :-D.

Paul,

I'm not pissed. Far from it. I know the script part of the site has
some errors and that's not cause of me but cause of the script. I am
just waiting for them to respond to some questions I had.

As for FireFox, what seems to be the problem? I use Firefox and only
problem I've seen is on the home page I need
to place a space between the wording and my parents picture.

Please dont start a virgin message. It throws everything out of order
when people want to read things months later. Thank you.

The typo's are not part of the script though, are they ?
And you did say you were a perfectionist and that you "try to make all
my websites perfect from SEO to design"

If you were going to use a script, then these should have been fixed
at design stage. And the typo's would have been corrected along the
way.

deigned - designed
hundres - hundreds
family's (I think that should be families)

yes, that was the main thing on that page (I didn't look around much
on firefox) but if you had noticed that it is centered in firefox and
not in IE.

Be careful about the padding as you may need to use the box model
hack.

Ok, Thanks.

No, the people at articledashboard have called me perfectionist. I do
try to make my sites 100% perfect. Since you mentioned ther above
issues, I am going to spend time fixing the warnings/errors until there
are none.

As for the script, it was developed in PHP. I not great with PHP, yet.
I need to find where the tables are and delete them.
