I won't be bidding, seems a bit steep for a domain even though some people
spend that amount I don't.

The site in question reckons 10k
Dunno what is on ebay.

http://www.smartpagerank.com/result....design.c o.uk
reckons $882

I wouldn't pay more than $5 for it. Greyed out PR doesn't convince me
to pay more.

My site also gives a PR of 0. It looks like several online PR checkers are
broke atm. Also, don't trust the value they give:

The estimated value of johnbokma.com is: $1,395

I made almost that much money December last year in one month with
AdSense. I admit, AdSense is not what it used to be, but their estimate is
as good as farting above your pocket calculator until you have at least 4
digits.

I still wouldn't give them more than 10$ for it

Ah, ok. Well, I noticed that several online PR checkers look dead.

Somewhere in March/April my AdSense started to drop, and it's now at 50%
of what I had normally. I would be quite happy with 1300 USD.

I have been hearing that a lot lately. Some as much as 80% drops
Mine was affected in October, but steadily returning.

I am, but below what should have been. Plus, the weak dollar doesn't
help. Hopefully should do better if I get these 4 new sites up and
running properly.

The true value of a website is determined by the buyer.:-) If you have
someone willing to pay more it is worth more. Your site of course has been
stable and ranks well for many good SERPs and has decent PR something most
appraisal thingys don't take into consideration. So, basically should be
wroth more to a prospective buyer. The only thing that is against it is the
name of course which wouldn't make Tom Smith happy to own it.:-) Stacey
Pettibone could use it wisely though.:-)

You would have made more those other months prior to you not wanting to add
it. It is a great added income isn't it?:-) I only wish I had done mine
sooner. I count on mine each month and holidays mine can go up as I have
those special holiday sites, which a few is coming up. Christmas though was
slow as I was too busy being away in the states and my Christmas site had
fallen in rank but picked up just this month which I should have gained
Christmas traffic better in November to make the best amount of money.
