Dunno what is on ebay.

http://www.smartpagerank.com/result....design.c o.uk
reckons $882

I wouldn't pay more than $5 for it. Greyed out PR doesn't convince me
to pay more.

I never even looked at it - hmmmm, a holding page. Wonder what was
there before? Oh look, a proper home page last year but before that it
was a "click to enter site" jobbie. Can't see any particularly worthy
backlinks. Might be useful as a corporate bauble, nothing else.

BB
$5 was too much then <G>

My site also gives a PR of 0.

It's a 6 when I look at it.
Via smartpagerank? I know it's 6 ( *cries* ). I hope to have it back at
7 the next update.

I won't be bidding, seems a bit steep for a domain even though some people
spend that amount I don't.

Stacey

I wouldn't either. Website-design.co.uk might be worth a few quid but
I don't think this one is.

BB
Yep, but even that one probably wouldn't be worth $4000 on it with nothing
going to it.

Are you building all these yourself or farming them?
Of course I am building them, why do you think I am always busy.:-) I have
total control of them which makes them more quality for linking. I make
money from them so it is necessary to keep the quality. It is my income and
when hubby retires "our" income with his retirement included.

Cool, just holler at me. I can always use some also. I don't do affiliate
sites anymore, well not complete ones. I use a couple of banners here and
there. I still make good money from them but I find that the drop shipping
and my own inventory works the best. Just a little more mixture to the pot
really. You can know that the links are quality as I do none the bad stuff
and I watch closely who I link with.

Mine peaked real nice in October. Halloween helped.:-) I am still running

A day? A week? A month?
I thought we were speaking a month here. So it is a month.

A lot of work... what I'd really like to be doing is SEO reports all
day because that's the most stimulating to do and the best paid.
Difficult to get that kind of work in in any quantity though. Still,
recession looms and more and more companies will be looking for
alternatives to PPC so organic can be very big this coming year... of
which, the happiest to all, may I say :-)

Yep, and with organic you need links.:-)

It is a lot of work especially when you have clients also. I have been
turning people away, or giving a high price that they don't want to pay so
it will be more worth it to me, so I can get more of my sites finished and
the ones I have get them all updated. I have a lot of product that needs to
be listed.

Clients can give you more money at a pop but for the long term I want
something more stable. Orders with commissions from Affiliates, with Adsense
seems to be more stable for me and I know that with it all including clients
I can keep a good income going. I need it with the house we bought and
paying for that plus this one we are living in we need the extra. Then of
course with all the sites I have something to work with as far as links go
also with cleints and no that they are good quality links with no wait on
them most of the time.

Or you need sound on-page optimisation. Anyone want to see where I am
for the phrase in their versions of Google? That's Lisa with an esss,
not a zeee. I'm no. 2 here in the UK and the USA Googs. I don't have a
lot of IBLs using the term.
