If you don't have access to server logs, Google Webmaster has a few tools that might help you. |

I am comparing my website (algebra.com) with other people's websites, I have no access to their logs. Wow! I just visited your site and bookmarked it. I have a first grader who is not learning Algebra _yet_, but does have a very good head for numbers and was disappointed that first grade did not have multiplication (we started teaching him this summer because he was interested and grasped the idea). You are first result for algebra in Google. Does web master tools give any help for you? |

Algebra.Com is a community site with volunteer tutors, they generate all kinds of content (solved problems, lessons, solvers) etc, much of which is good quality stuff. |

Anyways, having a better server is probably one of the best SEO techniques ever. Makes sense, too: if bots can't get to you quick enough, they won't come often enough and won't index as much as you want them to. Googlebot is especially sensitive as far as I can see: a prolonged sluggishness of a site will lead to fewer visits from GB within a week, then in a month or so comes the dreaded Google traffic drop. |
