Default Underscore in links question? - 01-10-2004 , 02:34 PM

How would using an underscore between words effect being spidered/indexed?

EX.
http://sitename.com/word1_word2_word3.html
or
http://sitename.com/word1_word2_word3_word4.html
or
http://sitename.com/word1_word2_word3_word4_word5.html

Thanks in advance

Andrew S.

It will make no difference to being spidered/indexed.

But if you want to rank higher for word1 word2 etc... above then use
hyphens-

word1-word2-word3.html

David replace SP@AM with @ to email me direct.
