This is a newbie question on search engines so perhaps it shouldn't be posted here - but I've run out of ideas. My personal hobby website is hosted by Easily.co.uk here in the UK. The 'official' address is basic1.easily.co.uk/05800c/03d03b which is a really snappy title :-) So I've bought http://www.afvs.co.uk which is easier to spell if nothing else. After numerous checks and (presumably) after Google has sniffed around for about three months the afvs address is still coming up blank if I do a Google search. Trouble is if I search Google using the string 'url:www.basic1.easily.co.uk/05800C/03D03B/ ' nothing comes up either. So what am I doing wrong and how should I be telling Google that I'm afvs.co.uk..? TIA |

Have you got it listed on DMOZ? Have you submitted your site to Google? http://www.google.co.uk/addurl.html Yeah, I submitted to Google, but using the afv.co.uk address - not the same |
