My immediate reaction, where's the rest of your home page gone to?
Shouldn't there be more? Customarily a page will end in
</body></html>, not in </table>.

No backlinks and no pagerank doesn't bode well for good search engine
rankings.

What was your best keyword phrase/search term?

Not sure where those </body></html> tags went? But I have put them back
in.

best keyword was "cmca" - 3.69% / 1029 hits.

Using the "site:" commanda I get absolutely no returns from Google
which makes me sure that I have been trashed by the crawler engine.
I have also lost about 40% of my traffic.

I use the same meta-keywords for every page... Could this be the reason
for being trashed?

I have the index page repeated in French, German and Italian - Could
this trip the crawler??

The page is super simple and I am really surprised at being killed off.

Any thoughts about how long I may stay on the trashed list?

Can you please take a moment to explain what you mean by backlinks and
pagerank?
Are they tags of some sort?
We have links pages within the site - but link to keep the index page
free from links to other organisations..

I still can't really see why I would have been trashed at this stage?
I would like to fix that so that the next time the crawlers come by the
site is reinstated in the rankings..or is at least recognised by Google.

Backlinks are the links from other sites pointing to yours. Use the
"site:http://www.cmca.net.au" (without quotes) command in Google, or better
still the "site:www.cmca.net.au" command in Yahoo and you'll see a list of
all the sites linking to yours.

I've just tried it in Yahoo for your site but all the results (154) are from
your own site. Interestingly, it shows that your description meta-tags are
nearly all identical, They should really reflect what is on the page, so
would differ from page to page.

Pagerank you can see by downloading the Google toolbar.

Good luck!!
