Default Strange Google positions - 01-03-2004 , 03:59 AM

I check my site's position at Google daily and I'm either at position 11 or 18.
No position between, before or after. It's either 11 or 18. What might be the
cause of this strange behaviour? And if you have a theory why, then what's
your advice to stay at #11?

Sometimes your search hits one Google database, at other times
it hits another Google database.

For your sake, I hope #11 is the newer database.

List your URL so we can look at the site. Our site was on page three then I
made a few little changes an in a matter of two days we we at #6. you might
be able to get a better ranking than 11.

What main keyword or phrase are you using when ranking is 11?

Anyone?

I think there are plenty of strange positions you can catch yourself in if
you are not careful...not just on Google.

But can you give an advice, given the URL and keywords above, to move
a couple of steps up?

Heh, I haven't touched the site in a week or so and it suddenly went
up from #17 yesterday to #9 today. There seems to be a large amount
of randomness involved. Or perhaps other sites above me lost their
position, which moved me up more or less "for free" ;-)

Google is "dancing" right now. Hold tight for a few days and see where you
end up.
