I have no idea from which version the *option* is integrated to spitout
decent code.

What is your need for this information Bill, planning on buying FP?:-) OK, I
will help you out since I use FP.:-)

FP can spit out decent code when used properly. When the code is messed up
it is usually the user's fault. There is just one problem that can not be
fixed and that is when using the FP to create the table borders it will make
a double word meta "Microsoft Border" and of course it has to be a single
token to be error free. To me that is not a big deal, for the convenience
that using the table borders will give.

I also have MS Expression Beta. It seems OK, haven't had much time to play
with it as I am pretty busy. It is made to look more like Dreamweaver and
Namo Editor. I would say that MS Expression is easier to learn and use over
Dreamweaver or Namo. Easiest to use WYSIWYG editor for newbies I think would
be CorelDrawX3 or PrintShop by Broderbund. Cheapest editor would be
PrintShop or Namo, but Namo being the best buy as it has a FTP with it.

Hope this information helps you on your new purchase.:-)

I looked at Wiki about it actually, where I learn it's to be
discontinued.

Which version do you have though? 2003 on seems to be ok, not that
I've judged it personally, I might think different.

Is this the thing they are going to replace it with? I shudder....

There's a vote of confidence in its own products!

Yes, but you started this thread to get information about it right?

This is where you seem to make a mistake in your writing as it isn't making
sense.:-) If you judge it you would think different?? Or if you try it,
what??

Why shudder? It is very good as far as making designs and it has a more
integrated CSS control.

Really? I think they have listened to people's comments and integrated more
control with CSS in the same working window. Although it helps to know some
HTML with any website building. I use both , writing HTML by hand and the
editor. I can see what the page will look like before loading it up. :-)
This helps me with colors and hues to change.

Just trying to help. Still why ask about MSFP to begin with if you don't
like it or have in the past put it down? :-)

ah, well, if it was in Wiki, then it must be true.

Anyone looking at "thanksgiving" or "turkey day" on wiki yesterday
would have seen "this holiday sux" - that was it, nothing else.

I just checked again, and it is back to "normal".

No, but it is still a good place to check many things. Not worse than most
of the net is

Happens now and then, but you can always take a look at the last version
before the page was vandalized. You may even revert the page to the
previous version by yourself

And I have happened to check Thanksgiving page yesterday (looking for the
reason why the traffic has gone down by 25%) - and it was OK.
