Default Sorta duplicate pages problem - 01-06-2004 , 09:02 AM

If you check e.g.: http://www.micro-sys.dk/
it actually loads the same content (title is different though) as
http://www.micro-sys.dk/home/welcome.php

All the product pages "suffer" from the same, e.g.
http://www.micro-sys.dk/products/launcher/
loads same content as
http://www.micro-sys.dk/products/launcher/overview.php

I have following conerns:
* I am probably spreading some PageRank unnecessarily (albeit not a lot,
since most internal-links and all external-links tend to go to the "/"
url).
* I guess it'll be flagged as duplicate content on SEs (which is fair). But
do
you think SEs are clever enough just to "cut" the page with least
pagerank,
or do I need to take care of this ASP to avoid any possible penalization?
* Are the 2 above concerns negliable, and am I being over-over-paranoid?

best regards
Thomas Schulz
