Aloa, I'm new to google-sitemap. Our website has about 400.000 sites and on google are only 500 listed, since 3 month. My question: Would google declare our new sites as spym, because there are more than 399.500 new sites? br Charlie |

To justify crawling of so many page, you must accumulate enough 'energy' by getting more inbound links -- links that point to you site. Be aware that Google's algorithms are 'angered' if a site with a so-called low profile contains many pages. This means that a site with many pages and a low level of 'credibility' (TrustRank and the likes of it) is as- sumed to have irrelevant, organic content. This is based on a personal ob- servation, as well as someone else whose knowledge is based on the Google guidelines for Webmasters. Best of luck, Roy PS - consider expanding your site map progressively. Start with dominant pages and add depth. You will at least get your more 'important' pages indexed first. You could assign page priorities too, but I don't know if this would help. |

You might want to offer some advice on what to build his site map with, Roy, as Google's I believe gives out after 50,000 pages. |
