overture keyword listings are presented alphabeteised e.g. "hire limousine manchester" |
|
does it matter what order a page is optimised in as im confised as to wether "limousine hire manchester" will give a better or worse result than the alphabetsied one given by overture |
|
when i search i typically use "term term location" e.g. "web design leeds" but thats just me... |

If you check your access_log you can group the search queries and see which one is used the most. when i search i typically use "term term location" e.g. "web design leeds" but thats just me... The query you gave looks not natural. Use the one with the most natural feel. |

Look after 2 weeks at your access_log and if you see one kind of ordering pop up more often you can change to that one. On the other hand, if you wait 2 more weeks you can see a different ordering coming up :-D. |

But putting web design first it will give prominence to that phrase....which is what the site's final goal...to be in the top positions for web design. |

I already stated: use the most natural order. And yes, people looking for web design in leeds probably use: web design leeds and very unlikely: web leeds design or leeds design web But that doesn't mean that he can't be on the first SERP for all three of them. |

Then all they would have to do is mention Leeds a couple of times and they would probably get those 3 smaller SERP's. |
