They were always top 3 when searching for
"search engine optimization"
There is talked that they have been dumped by Google
and apparently they are saying it is something to do with
a third party sabotaging their rankings.

Yeah they are not there in the top 3 ... I guess Google
changed/modified their algo - maybe a major update - and phew seoinc
is not in the top 3 for search engine optimization.

Why worry?

Why spend hundreds of dollars hiring a search engine optimization
firm? "Do It Yourself Search Engine Optimization Tutorial" shows you
exactly how to achieve top rankings in the search engines - without
hurting your budget. Why wait? Learn search engine optimization (also
known as SEO, search engine placement, search engine marketing and
search engine positioning) and achieve top rankings for all your sites
now!

Someone had sent out A LOT of bogus spam putting their web site in the
letter which resulted in a drop of their ranking. SEO Inc. was pretty
pissed about the whole thing and tracked down who did it and notified
the authorities. I read all about it in their forum.

So now what does SEOinc have to do to get back their top rankings after
being deindexed by google. Is there a way to resolve this situation or
their hard work is lost forever ?
I'd suggest they change their name to SEO-inc so the engines will
associate them with SEO.

That's the talk. Lot's of folks claiming they have a toolbar PR of zero
but when I just looked it was 7 FWIW.

They have 133 pages known to Google but it seems a lot are no longer
indexed - if you do site:www.seoinc.com you will see a lot of pages no
longer in the cache - if you search for strings from these pages nothing
shows in the results. The pages that are in the cache do still show if
you search. They still have 33K backlings reported. Looks like a ban as
they have been out for around 10 days.
