I'm currently looking at a whole new re-vamp of our site(s) to tidy things up. This would naturally result in a SQL driven database site for all the products we currently have. How are dynamic pages recognised in terms of "newness" ? Would there need to be subtle or significant changes to the body of the page for a S.E. to re-class the age of the page? If so, would it be feasible to have a section on each page that could globally changed with perhaps a paragraph of "latest news" within the body></body> tags or am I barking up the wrong tree? Just trying to work out the best techniques before commissioning a full blown remodel. Cheers Pete |
