Searching My PC

My only knowledge of search engines is as an Internet user and is
largely confined to Google. On my PC I have 20,000 MS Word *.doc files
which I need to search repeatedly. Appreciate someone pointing me to a
program that I could use for this.

this can be accomplished in several wasy. I fyou have your documents on a
server and have SQL Server 7 or SQL Server 2000, this article will help you
out.
