Did you ever consider to use the advanced search of google? Type midi or
..mid there and you are more or less directly routed to a bunch of websites
carrying thousands of midi-files.
Alternatively I can advise you to use
http://www.aminet.net
There you will find over 2 GB of midi files and protracker/compatible files,
plus some gigs of mp3 files.

I was recently disappointed at Google's lack of searching for MIDI
music. Enter "free midis" and you get like a mountain of spam. Then I
went to MSN Advanced Search (for which I had to use AllTheWeb to locate
it -- it gives the correct result at #1, whereas Google doesn't), and
simply put "mid" in the file-type box. A little keyword added, and all
works well. |
