Default Search Engines and Keywords. - 06-24-2003 , 10:09 AM

Hi,
there is a way to know what are the keywords more submitted in search
engines?
Example: I want to know if the keywords:
"tipical product"
are more searched of:
"quality product"

Thanks (excuse me for bad english).

Ther is a keyword-submitted-frequency tool for Overture at

http://inventory.overture.com/d/sear...ry/suggestion/

That might help.

Thanks for response.
The word that I have used are only an example. I have to know for specified
search engines (ex. google) what are the recurrences in a month of a
combination of keywords.
Thanks.
Bye.

I doubt "typical product" or "quality product" would be searched for. The
*specific product* would be for, like "honda car parts". Perhaps they
might
use "quality" as part of the search phrase, but most likely would base any
quality decision on the web site they visit.

Not exactly, although if you have the budget you might want to give
WordTracker a try at http://www.wordtracker.com/ , as this will give you
more information than the free tools alone.

Cheers,
Pete

speaking of wordtracker, does anyone know of how accurate their search
stats are? the search term information is fantastic if it is indeed
accurate. are there other such tools out there to run a comparison?
Instead of direct answer to your question, I'd like to introduce some
serching methods in following text.

We can find information on the Internet with various searching methods.

First, a very common and traditional way is searching by a word. This is
very simple and the most popular; It is simple to type and manipulate on the
computer. Also it is easy for us to study how to use this way.

Another method is using a statement like a full line of a question. This
method is very similar to human asking behavior. Therefore, nowadays more
and more people start to use this solution. However, implementation of this
method on computer is not easy since it needs to understand human's general
statement, and it also needs to be modified on each different language, so
only a few sites support this method yet.

One of the newest methods for this search is using a knowledge database.
In this case, searching is being processed with more sophisticated manner.
In practice, people sometimes can answer other's questions by themselves for
future people who may ask the same questions. By doing so, the size of the
knowledge database will be growing in the server continuously, and people
will have more possibilities to find the answer to their questions.

In conclusion, now we live in the sea of information, so if we know well
how to use various searching methods on the Internet, we will more enjoy our
lives.
