Default Search engine optimizing. - 01-20-2006 , 06:54 AM

Hi there

I don't know if this is the right group, but do anyone know, how to
optimize a homepage with special keywords? Example: How to bring my
own homepage to the top, by searching witch google?

Thanks

-M

hi
M
u want to optimize your homepage and bring it to the top in google.
but my friend it depends on subject of ur site, contents, keyword by
which u want to be top
links to ur site from other site, plus u need to add url to many other
directories and search engines.
but i suggest u if u want to come to the top by two or three keyword.
then first submit links to main search engines like Google Yahoo MSN
AOL AskJeeves AltaVista ,InfoSpace,AllTheWeb , Looksmart , Kanoodle
,Excite ,DMOZ etc
try to add url to more n more directories and search engines.
put ur main targeted kewords as title when ur submiting url to other
search engines.
and see result in first crowl of google u will be at the top of google

ok
all the best

I heard that it was possible to make a script that makes google index
your site on top or at least on the first page. I don't need my
current page to be search optimized, but I was just interested knowing
how it works.

Thank again.

Bu**hit.

Put reasonable amount of your keywords into text, meta title, meta
description
and urls. Get as much as possible links to your page, preferably with
anchor text being your keyword.

Then remember, that Google will penalise you for artficialities - too
much links got in very short time, too high percentage of keywords
and so on. Do your page so it is good for users, not for search engines.

That is the SEO crash course

Best,
Borek

And one of the best ways to put your site at the BOTTOM of Google is to use
crappy spelling and grammar.

And that is not a joke.

Totally agree, but also, in the poster's list of SE's to target " AOL
AskJeeves AltaVista ,InfoSpace,AllTheWeb , Looksmart , Kanoodle, Excite
,DMOZ " some of these of a little use. The best way to approach SEO today is
to satisfy Google, that usually recipricates to satisfying most of the other
major search engines because most of them incorporate Googles results and /
or have similar types of ranking systems. They are : Yahoo ( still ), AOL,
MSN, Ask ( AskJeeves ) and Excite.
