Default SEO / web design career any advice? - 07-10-2006 , 09:37 AM

Hello I am a student currently taking several IT classes and starting
to look into some specialization. What market is hot right now? What
will it take for me to find a job after college? What will I need to
know? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Melissa

Well hello Melissa.

So you wanna' be a geek eh. Well welcome to pop-bottle glasses lane,
did you bring your lab coat?

The main ingredient needed to become an SEO expert is an undying love
for fishing. If you can figure out how to land that 30 lbs. northern
pike you can surely get yourself some fine Top 10s indeed.

Innovation my girl. That is the big ticket qualification to nerdsville.
Think like Bill always says, "out of the box". Think out of the box
about everything. You entire life should now revolve around figuring
stuff out a little better than the others already have.

Good luck and drop by sometimes let us know how you are doing.

I though you did a couple of times, I didn't want to use the expression
unqualified.

It may have been said here when I got drunk last month. That's actually
happened twice this year already, which is not a good thing for me as
that can knock me out of commission, sometimes for over a year, as you
already know. Yes I have weaknesses too and the spirits are one.

Bong Bong. There's that sound again Bill, I better go ...

Are we supposed to be able to remember this, like it's unusual or from
your bizarre behaviour that day or something?
