Hello

We are a Manchester based online marketing consultancy that works for
a range of high profile clients in the sports and entertainment
sectors.

We're looking to recurit an inhouse search engine specialist to help
us maintain and improve our rankings for competitive keywords on the
major engines.

You'll also need to be able to advise clients on how to build a site
in a search engine friendly way and keep up with all the latest
developments in the SEO world...which is why I guess you came to this
newsgroup in the first place

If you are a successful search engine professional - we want to hear

I live in Manchester.
I know a bit about SEO
But I don't want a proper job. I'm doing my own thing.

But 6 months ago, I'd have gone for the job

That's what I was thinking when I read the post. Anyone who was truly
excellent in the field would be working for themselves anyway. This is quite
a problem for companies who need to employ people like this, I'd imagine.

All they need to do is pay someone to do a once over for them every now and
again. No need to take on a fulltime SEO imho
