Orderly queue, please.

I think the best way to select an SEO is to search on Google.
Obviously anyone who's only just made it to #335 in the results for
themself won't be able to do much better for you.

Once you've found a potential company, search Usenet to see if anyone's
ever complained about htem.

You could easily do it yourself. There is not much to it.
Just avoid and SEO India tpyes. You'll be throwing money down the
drain.

Re : web site promotion expert

Please forgive me for my overwhelming response. I was so please to see
your advertisement for a web site promotion expert in our Usenet group.
When I first read your employment opportunity I thought to myself :
Holy shit! For real! You have a real SEO job available. If I had an
employer I'd have gone to tell him right away "Hey Boss, Hey Boss! Take
this job and shove it where the sun don't shine. I'm going to work on
the Internet! I'm a' gonna' work for Evel Knievel"

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evel_Knievel

Hey I just searched Google for a web site promotion expert and I was
14th. I don't think that's very good but a first page appearance would
be pretty cool, I think. Incidentally, I am just joking around eh,
answering this employment ad. I do not require any more work at this
time. Read my blog, I am too busy trying to get some fishing time in as
is.

Before I get all slammed based by some members of this community, let
me qualify my use of the word expert. I have indeed started targeting
the use of the word expert, although I am more of an ethics activist,
simply a more competitively searched word. I need to keep finding a way
to get a decent message across to those that need sound SEO. I have
started to do this using the word expert more than specialist or
ethical or activist. Ever do a search for an SEO ethics specialist or
an Internet marketing activist? Thought not.

#4 for ethical SEO expert, that I like, sorta describes me. Not that it
is of any value career wise. I alway try to take any rankings work
generates in grace knowing it a result of having a long passion for
fair play in worthy Internet marketing pursuits.

What's wrong with running away and joining the circus, Fred? Too
ordinary for ya?

Most of us are too busy to blog; in SEO terms, Fred's a part-timer!

I'm not keen on so-called experts myself;

Depends on what you're looking for. The top 20 or so might be very well
just black hat.

Curious collection of Google ads - they all seem to be competitors.

Not to me. Anyhoo, I clean them out every once in a while but others
keep appearing. If they're so good, why do they need to advertise with
me?

That was fun. I created a SEO Expert page too. I even managed to get in
the ever growing in popularity keyphrase "frequently unbeknownst".

Just having a lil' fun that's all.
