The history of the domain, transfers, ip changes, change in hosting etc.
When you purchase a previously owned website you would want to see how the
site was if it was blacklisted by spamhaus or anything else.

I don't know the point of changing history if anyone can see the changes. To
me it was very idiotic of a person to do it and lie about it. But like I
said above a person needs to know all about the site. The same way you can
see who previously own a house, car or any type of property.

So what are you going to do if you find out I am telling the truth about the
