Default Removing My Web Site From Google Search (Help Needed) - 03-18-2007 , 04:18 AM

I had to remove my web site from Google (work reasons). But I have a
domain that I bought from Yahoo that still appears first when I plug
my name into the Yahoo search engine.

I previously had my domain forwarded to a site I built thru my ISP,
Verizon. The domain name is not forwarded now, it's not connected to
anything (hence no meta tags are in the site because there is no
site). . Does anyone know how I can get my domain NOT to appear in
Google's search? I tried using their Robots.txt file but there is no
place to plug it in since it is just a blank Yahoo domain.

Thanks in advance.

Actually, bad idea to post that. If there are no pages and the domain is
"empty", google will soon find that out and drop it.

You could always submit resubmit the url to google, though really not sure
it will find it.

If the site's physically no longer on the web then you can use the url
removal tool at Google Webmaster Tools (or whatever it's called this
week).
