Default removing ibls? - 09-12-2005 , 04:42 AM

is there any benefit in weeding out/removing ibl's from your site - ive
noticed one of my competitors number of IBLs has decreased since the last
check with their result jumping 3 places - this may be just the usual
weekend randomness but i want to check if theres a technique/method for
this.

IBLs usually either benefit you or have no effect, Their jump was probably
due to some other reason, either their site now is more approriate to the
search or yours has become less appropriate.

If you mean weeding out those that you have links with and no longer link
back...then there could be a slight benefit.
