Hello. I have this website that has product reviews. In main page i always have two or 3 reviews. The site is made in php/mysql and the page that has the product reviews has the keywords in the title. However when i checked in google my site keyword, i could only found the reviews of the 3 products in homepage. I tought that since google spiders all site (and it does spiders a lot, more than any other, and most my visitors come from google), and since my keyword is in every review page, my site would appear many times, for each page review product....but no, only appears for the 3 product with reviews in homepage. |

You must be the sufferer of the most recent Google bug. See, for example, the 6 links in this post: http://schestowitz.com/Weblog/archiv...les-big-daddy/ I believe that people in this newsgroup have been finding it tedious to provide the same explanations dozens of times. You can find more information in older threads. Best wishes, Roy -- |

I mean, my pages are indexed, all of them, the problem is that they do not appear in serps in first 1-3 pages, like the indext.php page. |

Your site could have been the victim of penalties. Maybe just some explainable fluctuations. Check your positions daily and see if they oscillate, so to speak. Try different datacentres (IP addresses) if it helps. You might find the following valuable: http://www.tippy.co.uk/google-datacenter-check/ Best wishes, Roy |

Just a quick post to let you know I've updated it to now test the first datacenter in each C-Block. The main run has always only done 10 DC's in total to keep load down on the server (err, I mean stop Google throwing error/redirects back at me). The C-Block test at least checks one datacenter in each C-Block so you can see if things are varying globally which I think is more use than the standard test. -- |

Hi, now you are loosing me ![]() This is getting too complicated... I am finding a hard time to understand why i need to search in different datacenters, and now you come with these c-block issues.. |

Its a pretty simple explanation really. Google has a number of datacenters, each on their own internet address (IP, which takes the form of ww.xx.yy.zz, example = 64.233.161.99) In the address above, the .161. is the bit we are interested in as that is the C-Class/Block address. On one of the other C-Blocks, Google has 64.233.167.99 64.233.167.104 64.233.167.147 i.e. 3 machines in the C-Block Its also faster than checking them all, and means my site is less likely to cause Google to block it. More info on IP address Class's can be found at http: //computer.howstuffworks.com/question549.htm Darren |
