That's not the picture at all. How many visitors are there because
they want the service offered and convert?

Err, no because conversion is based on quality of content, branding,
trust of the site etc... and that is difficult to quantify. We can
quantify how well a site is doing in an industry though, I've posted
some stats in this thread, some good some not so good. The SEO Gold
one would be what I'd consider below average for the industry, so what
traffic does your SEO site get bill?

I bet he's to embarrassed to say (I know it used to be 40 visitors a
day which was very low for a site of that age!).
Hey Jezsta got almost 5 times that amount yesterday. Plus half of those were
loooking at the SEO packages.:-) Not good amount of visits, but not bad for
a new site.

I will give advice over the phone if someone wants to have advice like that,
a less formal approach so people can related better at times. I have done it
with my other business and some people prefer it that way.

One has to know how to get long distance phone calls cheap. I don't pay
anything but a monthly fee.

It's amazing, according to wordtracker the entire 'classic literature'
serp gets 161 visitors per day which means you get more visitors to your
one classic literature site then the entire serp gets. How do you do it?

BTW, out of curiosity, did you find your sites back in the AOL set? I
am trying to get a short list of AOL rank (# occurences for a given
domain in that set), traffic rank (Alexa), and est. # daily visitors
(See AOL rank thread).

I've downloaded the data, but not looked yet. When I do I'll post what
I find for the two sites I have that get the most visitors. I doubt it
will be helpful though as it's all down to luck, do toolbar users
visit your site or not.
Yes, I am aware of that :-). I have a strong feeling that Google users and
AOL users don't overlap, and most people probably get their majority of SE
traffic via Google. AOL users might be less technical etc. Most people
here will be aware of that, but I guess there will be a majority out there
that take the AOL data als king Solomon's mine :-D.

If I have time later, I'll check.

Thanks.

David doesn't focus on 1 SERP (would be stupid). Also WordTracker is just
a sample from a few small SE's. As I have said very often in the past,
take it with a huge grain of salt, not as the absolute truth.

If you doubt me, analyze the AOL data, and compare it with wordtracker.
You will be amazed.

Also, read a bit more up in the thread, and see how Alexa traffic rank and
AOL rank match up (they really don't).

Finally, even if we all could see Google's actual search data, it still
can't be used for comparing sites. Some sites rely for 90% of their
traffic on Google, others for 50%. So all that: hey, wordtracker says x,
so you have x visitors a day max via Google for that SERP is like
predicting the second coming by my shoe size.

VOIPbuster ( http://www.voipbuster.com/ ). I paid 10 euro for 6 months and
could call free with several countries, including Mexico :-D.

Moreover, a lot of people probably have Skype or MSN Messenger.

Yeah, there are a lot of choices out there. I used Vonyage, I have 2 phone
#'s for the states with area codes with 502 and 413, and my family can call
me for free because of those area codes.

My German phone 69-72 euro for internet also, which has a plan for long
distance also, and all the local call everywhere is included. Which is
expensive but not like it use to counting each little click.:-) But we the
plan as the internet can go down and then if I have to be reached I can with
the German phone.:-)

Default NOTICE - 08-11-2006 , 02:39 PM

This posting by an innocent Internet hopeful sparked a jealous driven
attack on my character, my ethics and my SEO techniques. A vicious
assault is still atking place and turns its ugly head in many damaging
directions to me, to the co-conspirators and to the industry of SEO as
a whole.

I would like to point out that the email posted by Billy, as a
desperation measure of mine in an effort to terminate embarassing
discusions about me online.

As I needed and did mention that I worked Billy's text to suit the need
some of the contents within are my own words. I particularly addressing
those written about my Quebec experience. They of course interpret it a
completely way. Their final verdict of me if that I contributed nothing
to their business success. They don't make for a good reference and I
should not have included them in this response. That was not a good
marketing decision on my part, it was not well-though out.

So, I apologize for any inconvenience I amy have cause them. Again I
found my ass backed into a corner like a spider and tried to spin my
own web to get my ass out of that posting. That strategy wasn't the
best one.

for those that haven't a clue what I'm talking about, the fight against
me and a bunch of SEO groupies is taking place

You should be able to catch up on events from that point.

You can have a look at my final stand with these SEO punks here as

It wasn't an email, this is the Usenet. I would also like to point out if
someone looks at the registry of the domains they will see Billy's address
is the same as Fred's. Now, I didn't mention this before in this thread. But
thought it needed to be pointed out also.

With VOIP buster, I have a free phone number in the Netherlands :-) People
in the Netherlands pay local costs, so it's easier to call all the way to
Mexico for them.
