Must be a new thing then. Only ones I see are flowered or checked.

You can get ironing board covers with a variety of themes.
Must be made for these metrosexuals that I keep hearing about.

Never used one. Always had a woman to do that. Same goes for ironing.

If men were supposed to iron then,
1 : The would make irons heavy

Actually, that shows how much you know about irons. The best ones are
they
heaviest. :-)

Yes, best ones probably are. But the only ones i've seen are all
light. ie made for girlies and gays.

2: They would have manly things on ironing boards, not flowers etc.

They do.:-)

Mine is out at the foot of my bed. A nice large German heavy one. It makes a
nice alternate clothes storage location. You can easily find what you want.
To iron something just move the clothes to the bed, of course you have to
move them off the bed back to the board.:-)

about politics that doesn't support their agenda. Small businesses
will ALL suffer, and monopolies will get even stronger. The Internet
will revert to about as accessible as cable TV (pay for HBO or basic).

The example that was given was: dearAOL.com
They posted a site that criticizes AOL's poor ethics regarding email
and AOL blocked access to this site through their service.

They work very closely with the NSA. They already are watching.
Remember they admitted to recording every phone conversation and email
message? They claim that they aren't planning on using the info, just
holding it incase they (get a legal warrant) need it to stop
"terrorists" (Patriot Act).

They figure that they can just spend tens of millions of dollars buying

How they going to administer any of this?
I have a feeling that they will administer it UP OUR AMERICAN ASSES.

The same exact way that they took over major networks during the OJ
trial. They distract you with celebrity scandals and vote when you
aren't paying attention.

The Internet has allowed the people of the world a means to
communicate, develop, and advance like we have never advanced before.
Don't let them take this tool away from us just because they have
enough money to buy the rules. We, the people, own the internet - AT&T
turned down the contract to build it and now they want to buy it or
think they own it and can charge us "tolls". Google: "The internet is
not a truck" for a good laugh.

This is very real and is happening right now. If you care about
freedom at all, please sign the petition and write to your senators.

The good guys are: Google, eBay, most Intenet Icons

The bad guys are: Qwest, Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, Time Warner (AOL)

You might not have a homepage if they pass this bill.

If you really care,

Go to www.savetheinternet.com and be one of the over 1,000,000 people
to sign the petition. Then send an email to your senators. The best
thing that we can do is to inform the public about what is going on and
ask them to become involved.

The House already passed the bill on June 22, it's up to the Senate
now.

There are currently 21 senators voting for Net-Neutrality, and 13
against it.

66 senators are still undecided, which probably means that they are
still willing to accept checks and donations from the telecom
monopolies.

savetheinternet.com is not my site (nor am I affiliated with them in
any way). I am just a concerned American, Entrepreneur, and small
business owner who is scared to death of what will happen if freedom of
speech on the Internet is sold to the telecom monopolies by my
government (that is supposed to represent THE PEOPLE - NOT THE $$ MONEY
$$). Places like this blog could cease to exist.

If their pagerank is high, it is partly because Google is one of the
biggest supporters of Net-Neutrality. I first heard about this issue
in a blog written by the CEO of Google.

please help,

Much as it is now, as one has to pay for internet access anyway. One
has to have a computer etc. This is a consumer society, people have to
be given the opportunity to earn at every, er, opportunity, otherwise
society as we've known it, together with its existing power structure,
falls apart.

Hardly surprising. It's cheaper than offering a counter-argument and
AOL is in business to make money, not further the humanities. AOL has
a responsibility to its stock-holders etc and legally was probably
obliged to protect their interests. This isn't morals, it's business.
Senators are elected to protect communities and that means looking
after the major business players in those communities, the big
employers.

Agreed, it's a huge threat to the political structure of the planet.
Never have knowledge and ideas been so available.

I said ethics, not morals. Have you never heard of business ethics?

It has to do with no one ever voting for politicians again if they
allow this to happen. It has to do with AOL losing its customers (and
having to move to a free service model) since their clients realized
how the scam works and AOL is losing like 25% of their cusomers every
month.

Quote:
Senators are elected to protect communities
Are you calling what they did to the WTC "protection"?
Is the patriot act "protection"?

1% of our population is in prison.

With all this "protecting" going on, who is protecting our
constitutional rights?

Did you say big employers or big campaign donators? I can't hear with
all the telecom tower construction going on here. They have so many
workers.

"AT&T's top IT exec says automation of its IT systems will let it shed
more than 12,000 jobs this year without hurting its network or
service."

So who was protecting the 12,000 people who lost their jobs this year?

Hmm 12,000 x $20,000/year = just enough to pay off congress

And they store this in which fantasy?
"The National Security Agency has been secretly collecting the phone
call records of tens of millions of Americans, using data provided by
AT&T, Verizon and BellSouth, people with direct knowledge of the
arrangement told USA TODAY."

We do? Why am I having to pay for it then?
You do not pay for the Internet, and you know that. The Internet will
(hopefully) still be here after you're dead. You pay to rent a server
to host your site because you can't afford to buy your own. You also
pay a connection fee that should cover the cost of the infrastructure,
wires, satellites, and all (but the cost is bent by greedy telecom
monopolies). Internet will be in some cities via Wi-Fi, regulated (and
paid for) by the city governments (your taxes).

They ARE good guys. eBay is an American icon for Entrepreneurialship
and Google is a beacon for universal, multi-cultural diversity and
sharing - (theoretically) without bias.

Why do you think you are here?

Because Google doesn't sell out like our government. Google became
popular because they were bold enough to give us the truth instead of
telling us who pays them the most MONEY.
