Two pages are found if you do an allinurl: search . A search using the url comes back with a few more pages, with several sites that link to us above us in the listings. Finally if you search for 'The Environment Site' we are nowhere, despite that being our domain name! Not as far as Google is concerned. It thinks your domain name is theenvirnomentsite which is not the same thing at all. So you'd better buy www.the-environment-site.org. That for preference anyway. If you get www.the_environment_site.org (that was with underscores by the way) then Google will still think you've got www.theenvironmentsite.org. There are a couple of other text thingies Google will understand to be spaces but they don't come to mind. BB We also have a white bar pr but I no plenty of sites having this problem so I'm not too worried. The site has been up for a few months and I havn't ever used any spamming techniques or anything. Any ideas? |
