I've well and truly lost track of which search engines share data with each
other, so I'm wondering can anyone recommend a couple of good web search
engines which are *not* related to Google, so that when google returns 0
results on something specific, I know where else to try.
Xpost and FU set to alt.internet.search-engines as that would be a far
better group for your query.

p.s. this is of course because I'm more than well aware of Google's 'anti
junk/webspam' filtering...
You want to read webspam???

demon.service is the only internet-related group I read so I thought I'd ask
my quick question in here, but thanks for pointing me in a better direction.

When Google says "0 Results", I would occasionally like to consider the
possibility that Google might be over-filtering. The web equivalent of a
false-positive if you will.

Feel free to use our search engine KaZaZZ! www.kazazz.com. KaZaZZ!
has its own independent database as well as other search engine data
(Google is not included in our search process at this time).
