are there any advantages (or disadvantages) to having multiple domain names that ultimately point to a single site through either a page redirect or server redirect? thanks in advance... |

We have the same problem. We have several domains all with the same content (virtual hosted) but only promote one URL (the main one). It must be the competition that puts our other URL's into Google's SE which results in lower ranking of the submitted site. How can we avoid this scenario? The additional URL's are all DNS'd to the main one so there is no separate hosting where I could put a robot file or anything. Thank you for any help.
