Besides I have not registered any page at Google. So, it is not my fault if the search engine should register 2 similar pages... |

It wasn't that long ago when you were asking why google haven't indexed your page and given it a good positions in searches. You provide, in your page, link to both - PHP and HTML version and only difference in both content pages is one silly line where's date and time. So, why should google, yahoo or msn spider both pages some point and NOT notice content is over 99% identical? |

Let´s assume ( although I have some doubts about it) that you were right and that the only reason why a certain page would not be indexed were because there is a copy of the same page. |
|
In this case Google should eliminate all similar pages. But what would happen? That would be a very useless exercise for the user who would miss many interesting pages. |

Your biggest problem with not getting pages indexed is probably because of atleast these three things. 1. very few incoming links to pages/site from OTHER sites, not just from inside your own. |
|
2. plenty of duplicate content inside your OWN site that does look "spammy" to search engines. |
|
3. Usage of HTTPS that quite likely "slow" down spidering of pages. |

The user would only miss the interesting pages a webmaster didn't bother to get into Google. It's not Google's "fault", but the webmaster's. If you would not upload your page to a server, no one would be able to read it. If you make duplicate content, your site won't show up in Google. Both are the webmaster's doing. More so after that webmaster has been told many times about the consequences of his actions. |
