I've subscribed to it in the past and it is extremely
comprehensive, very informative and for a beginner would be well
worth it (maybe even for an expert too). I let the subscription
go because I left the company I was working for at the time to
set up my own business and just haven't got round to picking up
with it again.
Each month there is a lot of duplication but there is also a lot
of new stuff. It used to come in Word format (might be PDF now)
so you can print out the relevant bits.
I'm not sure what they are charging for it ($97 I seem to recall
for 6months with a "the dog ate it guarantee", so it has to be
worth trying it I'd say, particularly if you want to get holdof a
lot of information in one place.

Hi All,
Has anyone bought this book and if so, can they comment on its effectiveness
for a beginner in SEO?
"The unfair advantage book on Winning the Search Engine Wars by Planet Ocean
Communications"
Is it printed?
It'll be out of date almost certainly.
If you need to read printed stuff buy a printer and print stuff out
off the net.
lots of reading http://www.searchenginebase.com
