I suspect that Google spiders so many sites that they only actually look at those sites that are brought to their attention either by automated processes they have put in place or customer complaints. In essence Google concerned are with returning quality search results to their customers as this in turn drives their revenue stream. If you make alteration to your web site to assist the correct indexing of the site you are unlikely to create any issues. If you make alterations to your site in an attempt to deceive the search results then this could be a different matter. My guess is that they would be bothered by what you are trying to do. |
