That noodling thing between your ears that gets in the way when you
try to stick a pencil through - that's better, if you can get the damn
thing to work.

Brain and a text editor :-))

My preferred text editor is a freeware program called NoteSpad. Lists
16 files at once and does a few basic search and replace type things,
but nothing fancy (not much different to Notepad).

BTW nothing wrong with Dreamweaver, I like how it can update a static
sites template via one file, can't do that with a text editor and my
brain doesn't like doing it :-))

Just avoid using the design view, WYSIAWYG (What You See Isn't Always
What You Get :-))
