I saw some figures that said that in the U.K. for example, MSN was
larger than Google. Don't know if this is true.
I have never come across anybody in the UK who uses MSN by principle. The
only exception I can think of are Hotmail users who are too lazy (or
ignorant) to navigate to google.co.uk. I think what you heard was
propaganda.
