Here is an excellent article on how to read your stats that explain
everything.

http://webrankingconsultants.com/seo...-web-site.html

Webalizer is not very accurate, awstats is more accurate, a program is
the most accurate. I've seen results in webalizer of 500 per month, and
awstats state only 150, then the software that I use for stats says 7.
I blocked out my own IP address so that it doesn't count me when I
visit the site for reference. Also the software places cookies on your
web site to give you more accurate results so it doesn't count the same
visitor multiple times.

Here is a description of the software I use.

A free trial of the software can be downloaded at the bottom of my home
page at www.webrankingconsultants.com. It gives you a free 15 day trial
to try out the stats then costs about $9.95 per month after that. I use
it and would recommend it to others.

Hello

I have a european website, not written in english, but in the stats
software awstats (and also webaliser and analog) united states visitors
are on top.
I wonder if those are real visitors or just refleting google, msn,
yahoo etc robots....

Also, in the awstats it says 1000 visitors a day go to my site. This
includes the robots?
And btw, is there a possibility of preventing stats program to count my
visits? I go a lot to my site.

What does it mean "hits"? Please check next data:

Months Unique Visitors Visits Hits Bandwidth
Jan 2006 872 1025 1112 2021 2.66 MB
Feb 2006 2886 3409 12724 147907 628.94 MB

May 2006 17131 20764 84666 1315740 4.61 GB

And finnaly:

My site is based in php and mysql
In stats i see that the most visited page is page_products.php
However, that page name is always the same but it shows many thousand
diferent products. Is there a way to count the pages like
page_products=987.php so that i can see what product pages are more
viewed?

Thx for all the comments.
