Default Dead site on Google - 07-04-2005 , 04:41 PM

Hi,

I've noticed that after a while I can't see my site on google
no more. I don't know if they are blacklisted or what.... It not
possible to see them using site:k3-media.com
Is there anyway to bring it back ?

Hi,

It could be that google just gives up and thinks that it is unable to
provide useful results from your site (there is a hefty frameset thing
going on with your site).

My advice is to make it more search engine friendly and google (and
others) will probably spider it, index it and keep it in the index

Hope this helps

AFAIK: nope, unless those words are either in the content or in the anchor
text.

It is widely held that the keyword tag is not used, but it cost
nothing and MIGHT one day prove useful.
There may be very very few SEs using the keyword "tag", and it's more
likely that it gets less and less useful, instead of the other way around.

Oh, and thanks for *not* topposting.

Yahoo indexes the description and pulls it for results. Google and MSN
doesn't.

I am pretty certain that I have found pages, using Google, where the keyword
I used was in the description and not in the text.

At any rate why pass up a chance to have different wording in the
Description tag from what you have in your text.

Interesting snippet:

I recently found (using Google) one of my own pages which mentioned Yorktown
Virginia but my search was for Yorktown VA

"VA" does not appear anywhere on the page in question, so clearly Google
know about the US 2 Character state codes.

One less thing to worry about!

Possible, since the text could be in the *anchor* text for links pointing
to that page.

No problem, same as you can use title attributes on some elements, etc.
However, some people will think it has a meaning to Google, and make up all
weird kinds of assumptions.

[ btw thanks for not top posting ]
