Where's the best place to learn about SEO? I currently have a site at PR3 that's nowhere in the top 1,000 results for the keyword I want. We get about 600 unique visits a month, but I am sure we have the potential for more. The site in question is http://www.t-h-e-store.com/. The HTML is valid, and I've arranged the code so that the content (middle) column is written first. I understand that the home page should have conent that changes every so often, correct? |

And you have that, you have a site doing okay, you have the best resource inthe world (the internet) and you have a reason to enhance your skills (To make your site better). Give yourself an aim and them read up on the subject (Theres plenty of pdf books you can source for free if you look hard enough) theres the search engines themselves (Enter your keyword and ask yourself WHY they are above you, what have the top 5 got in common?) And ask specific questions on the newsgroups here and of course on the various SEO sites. Hope this helps Craig ---------------------------------------------------- Active member of the googuru community ...but so much of the information is WAY out of date or complete |

and I've arranged the code so that the content (middle) column is written first. You should be teaching some of us here. I understand that the home page should have conent that changes every so often, correct? Seriously, where is this coming from? We're getting asked this a lot lately and until recently it just wasn't an issue. |
