Have you the authors permission to do that ?

I wouldn't have thought he would have needed the author's permission.
Well, if he is taking someone work for their own use, then I would say
yes.

willing. Hundreds of people will read, some will remember - that's
kind of archivization too. You can't say "I would rather NOT have
google, OR ANYONE else <strong>remember</strong> my posts"
