In Germany I can't say shoot? Scheiße, oh well how about schießen?

Shoot is an American term .......... better to say shit esp when
visiting the UK

Yeah, I know. But hey, after hanging with me a lot of my British friends
started to say shoot. :-) Actually, when I say shoot I am not meaning
shit.:-) I lived 4 years in the UK before I lived in VA BTW. I had also
lived in Germany 7 years before a while ago so it isn't my first time over
here.

Those 2 German words above are different also. The first is shit and the
2nd
is shoot. Didn't know if you caught the spellings.

Stacey

To things not to say in Germany

"2 nil" and "where's Poland ?"

My german is so rusty that it has it is almost zero now
I hope you are enjoying the European weather <g

Take care
Paul
Love the weather! If I was in VA I would be dying from the heat and humidity
as before. :-) It has been warm though, but not above 90 degrees
Fahrenheit...high 70's. Plus, the country is beautiful.

Nice isn't it. You can breath a lot better

I felt like that in Houston. Felt like living in a sauna 24/7

Yes, German weather normally fairs better than the weather in the UK.
(average 200 days of rain year)

Take care
Paul

Enjoy - while it lasts. Autumn is getting closer and it can be grey,
instead of yellow/blue.

No such danger here.
