Hi ! 20-3-2004 I ruled a couple of (old) domains out of the Google index. They are not reindexed yet. I have contacted the Google Team. Their answer : ------------qoute start ------------------ Thank you for your note. Please be assured that your site is not penalized. Although our robots may visit your site, we cannot guarantee that your pages will be thoroughly crawled or indexed. ------------qoute stop ------------------ The Domains has been crawled every day (10-30 visits), in that period, by the Google bots. Todays Googlebot count on one of the domains, is 27 and counting. The domains do really good in other searchengines. And they are btw. regged in the DMOZ. So, my question is : Has anyone in this newsgroup experienced in real life, to rule a domain out of Google and then get it reindexed ? If so, how long time went by, before the actual reindex took place ? I'm not interested in guessing and the like, but in real life situations. |
