Don't you two have anything better to do than to clog up this newsgroup
with your flame war? You are both being quite rude towards all of the
users who wish to discuss search-engines. Take it to email or alt.flame.

If it bothers you so much use your kill file.

A lot of things others have done here are irritating, but I generally
don't ask them to stop it since this is a NG, not a moderated mailing
list where anyone has any control.

For example when you kept correcting other posters posting errors (in
your opinion) with lists of URLs for them to read (which I would find
insulting) I didn't say anything since I have the choice of adding you
to a kill file or just ignoring those posts (I did the latter).

Whatever I do in this public NG, does not prevent you or anyone else
from discussing search engines, so unless I decide to change my
posting behaviour I'll be continuing to respond to Sam's illiterate
ramblings (it's a 10 minute diversion from working all day/night and I
know a fair number here find it amusing <most of the time anyway>).

I agree with what you said above and here is another more fitting blog
site I did about you:

At least put some effort into it Sam, people are counting on you for
their daily chuckle!

This one http://seo-dumbass-sam.blogspot.com/ looks quite good, your
two blogs are amateur in comparison.

BTW it's big of you to agree your ramblings are illiterate. Two gold
stars for honesty.

Uses my bandwidth, uselessly I might add.

I doubt that it does much for your business. Your petty posts are
reflective of certain character traits that would give many pause to
consider if this was a person they could trust with such issues as
confidentiality. Also, your arrogance could cause one to question your
ability to flex and adapt to changing terrain.

I think the proper UK terminology is "boorish", although "churlish" comes to
mind also.

It appears that in your mind it is proper to do as you wish in public. If
there were any culture or sophistication at play here, there would be a
realization that:

1. With freedom comes responsibilty
2. Considering others is a virtue
3. Humility is becoming
4. Self -restraint is a sign of strength

Frankly Dave, I find your boasting, your insults and your arrogance to be
quite offensive. It is like seeing someone masturbating in the park. While
they may find pleasure in it, most observers are simply disgusted.

You use a newsreader, how much bandwidth are we talking about? LoL Do
you have a newsreader that you can only download so much? I am sure
though this little bit won't bring your monthly dowloads over the
edge.

Although, I find Sam's boasting and constant arrogance the same. So,
someone going agaisnt him doesn't bother me. I agree, it is a NG. A
place for anyone to say what they feel basically. You can't stop them.
Adds a ittle bit of humor in a day sometimes. If I don't want to read
it I don't, it really isn't a big deal to me.

I don't see this, but I may be a little different than others.
Different people feel differently about it. I feel that there are some
people here that boast just the same as the rest. I also feel that
some people find someone's constant nagging and put downs fine. Just
ignor the postings that you don't want to read.

There is a lot of good info that is given on this NG. A lot of heat
and flames added with it. That is life in general. Unless you lead a
sheltered life. And of course, there will be people who agree with you
and not. Isn't it great that we are not all the same?

fun at Sam's expense, that's your loss.

Arrogance, how long have you been reading my posts? I've lost count
the amount of times I have said I'm more than happy to be shown I'm
wrong about something since it means I get a better understanding of

I'm also the only person on this NG posting their failures at SEO in
great detail so others can learn from my mistakes. I adapt as I
discover new information.

Your are mistaking my confidence for arrogance, there is a difference.

Don't you think you took the above analogy a tad far?

Maybe you're the only regular on this group actually still making
mistakes. And boorish and churlish are hardly Middle English. Read a
paper or two that's not a tabloid.

Keep on dreaming kid.

BTW what boasting? It's bragging, being cocky, thinking you're king shit all very fitting for you.
But I'd say your biggest fault is your closed mindedness and not being
very observant which a good seo has to be and also being too cautious
about trying new things.

I think dave should do something useful like joining up and guarding
some medical supplies in Iraq. If he gets killed, well, we'll all grieve
for him and say what a great guy he was.
