Don't you two have anything better to do than to clog up this newsgroup with your flame war? You are both being quite rude towards all of the users who wish to discuss search-engines. Take it to email or alt.flame. |

| Whatever I do in this public NG, does not prevent you or anyone else from discussing search engines, so unless I decide to change my posting behaviour I'll be continuing to respond to Sam's illiterate ramblings (it's a 10 minute diversion from working all day/night and I know a fair number here find it amusing <most of the time anyway>). I doubt that it does much for your business. Your petty posts are reflective of certain character traits that would give many pause to consider if this was a person they could trust with such issues as confidentiality. Also, your arrogance could cause one to question your ability to flex and adapt to changing terrain. |
|
It appears that in your mind it is proper to do as you wish in public. If there were any culture or sophistication at play here, there would be a realization that: 1. With freedom comes responsibilty 2. Considering others is a virtue 3. Humility is becoming 4. Self -restraint is a sign of strength Frankly Dave, I find your boasting, your insults and your arrogance to be quite offensive. It is like seeing someone masturbating in the park. While they may find pleasure in it, most observers are simply disgusted. |

I think the proper UK terminology is "boorish", although "churlish" comes to mind also. |

If all I do is waste your bandwidth use your kill file. I doubt that it does much for your business. I have more business than I can handle thanks, a lot comes from this NG. Your petty posts are reflective of certain character traits that would give many pause to consider if this was a person they could trust with such issues as confidentiality. I don't see how the two equate? If you can't see I'm having a bit of fun at Sam's expense, that's your loss. Also, your arrogance could cause one to question your ability to flex and adapt to changing terrain. Arrogance, how long have you been reading my posts? I've lost count the amount of times I have said I'm more than happy to be shown I'm wrong about something since it means I get a better understanding of the subject material. I'm also the only person on this NG posting their failures at SEO in great detail so others can learn from my mistakes. I adapt as I discover new information. |

Your are mistaking my confidence for arrogance, there is a difference. I think the proper UK terminology is "boorish", although "churlish" comes to mind also. Your obviously not from the UK if you believe the above are common sayings in the UK, I've never heard those used in conversation. It appears that in your mind it is proper to do as you wish in public. If there were any culture or sophistication at play here, there would be a realization that: If I thought the above I'd now be resorting to personal insults aimed at you, since you just insulted me with your post. Will I lower myself to your level, no. Will I have a little fun with a retard such as Sam, absolutely. 1. With freedom comes responsibilty 2. Considering others is a virtue 3. Humility is becoming 4. Self -restraint is a sign of strength Frankly Dave, I find your boasting, your insults and your arrogance to be quite offensive. I again point you to your kill file. BTW what boasting? It is like seeing someone masturbating in the park. While they may find pleasure in it, most observers are simply disgusted. Don't you think you took the above analogy a tad far? How is the above showing your sophistication and culture? Criticise me by all means, but lets not get personal. John Merrell David |

I have more business than I can handle thanks, a lot comes from this NG. Keep on dreaming kid. Frankly Dave, I find your boasting, your insults and your arrogance to be quite offensive. BTW what boasting? It's bragging, being cocky, thinking you're king shit all very fitting for you. |
